Data Centre for Retail Bank – Tanzania, East Africa

Project Management for a 640KW (N+N) Tier III Data Centre for a major Bank in Tanzania. The DC included, as part of their enterprise services, space capacity provisions for future Co-Location services. The DC included 550kVA (N+N) Static modular UPS for critical services, plus UPS (N) to support chilled water pumps, all complimented with on-site standby diesel generation.

As part of our brief, we also advised the client on best practices to improve DC optimization/utilization from 25% to 100% within 12 months. We also developed and implemented a 2-year operational and maintenance strategy to assist the client to assimilate the new investment effectively.
